Generally the tests are administered in small groups where candidates have to write answers to questions given in test booklets on Optical Mark Reader Answer Sheets. However, in some cases equipment based test can also be used.
Recently aptitude test for direct recruitment for the post of ASMs and Traffic Assistant was held in computer based on 30.06.2017 and for direct recruitment for the post of Assistant Loco Pilots was held in computer based mode (CBT) on 10.05.2019 and 21.05.2019 respectively.
