HELP FOR ONLINE PURCHASE OF DOCUMENTS

1.

Select the concerned Design Directorate controlling the item (or) the concerned QA Directorate if the vendor approval undertaken by QA for the subject item, from drop down menu.

2.

 Select the item for which you are interested to purchase documents viz specification, drawings.

3.

Select the specification and drawing of assembly/sub-item from the drop down menu.

4.

The selected specification & drawings are displayed and the charges payable calculated automatically @ rate of 2000 per specification. and Rs.500 per drawing and total amount payable is displayed.

5.

Firm can purchase specification/drawings of different items controlled by the directorate in a single transaction by selecting the concerned items and their drawings/specification, one after the other.

6.

Purchaser shall pay the charges payable through RTGS as per the RDSO guidelines on RTGS payment and enter the details of RTGS payment.

7.

Purchaser/vendor shall enter the details of his firm e-mail, address, works address etc.

8.

The required drawings/specification would be sent through e-mail on verification of details of RTGS payment by RDSO.

9.

 Steps to be followed for on line purchase of documents

Vendor shall go through the following path

www.rdso.indianrailways.gov.in                                 Vendor related information 

On line purchase of document                               Select Directorate

Select type of item                                                     Select the box relevant to the

Specification/Drawing to be purchased                     Click Add item               

If want to take Specification/Drawing of other item is to be purchased, select same and finally click OK

Total amount to be paid will appear automatically in DETAILS of payment of CHARGES at     

Total Paid Amount (Rs.)

The amount shall be paid through RTGS, fill the form and finally click SUBMIT button.

Note:

Pay the exact amount only. Do not pay extra amount as it may be difficult to settle amount. Application should be submitted within 30 days of RTGS payment.
